This place is special.
At Bluff Hill Cove we take care of each and every one of our oysters to an uncommon degree. Our oysters are tide tumbled and grown on the surface of the ocean where they take in all the best that the salty waters that Point Judith Salt Pond has to offer. Our location and the dramatic shift in tides provide a conveyor belt of nutrients that make our oysters healthy, briny, and rich.
The farm specializes in creating the highest quality individual oysters for the people that love them.
Started in 2014 by Harvey Cataldo, he spent years experimenting to create the perfect oysters in the signature Winter Pearl and the Gansett Point; both of which you can find at your favorite local restaurants such as George’s of Galilee, The Coastguard House, Newport Vineyards, and more.
Bluff Hill Cove Oyster Company is family owned, operated, and held together by a terrific local community of friends, restaurants, chefs, educators, mariners, and creative collaborators.
